Students Rally for Mosquito Eradication

VIJAYAWADA: November 6, 2016

Over 300 municipal school students led by the corporators and officials of the Vijayawada Municipal Corporation took out an awareness rally on mosquito eradication as part of the ‘Domalapai Dandayatra’ programme.

While all the corporators conducted the programme in their respective divisions, a mega rally was organised in Satyanarayana Puram with the students of the A.K.T.P Municipal High School taking part in it.

The students went around the streets holding placards displaying messages to educate public on mosquito eradication and prevention of spreading of the menace that is causing viral fevers and other seasonal diseases.

Local corporators, VMC biologist A. Nookaraju, Deputy Educational Officer K. Durga Prasad, sanitary staff and others took part in the rally.

Beware, your Viral Fever May Relapse

Times of India Sep 6, 2016 : Mosquito-borne infections are continuing to pose. 

Along with dengue-like and chikungunya-like viral fever making the rounds, cases of viral fever relapse are also being seen. In viral fever relapse, patients who were earlier diagnosed with dengue are coming down with dengue-like or chikungunya-like atypical fever within 15 days or a month. In some cases, patients who had such atypical fever earlier are now testing positive for dengue or chikungunya.

"The cases of relapse in viral fever are on the rise since the beginning of this month. Patients settling down with the earlier fever episode are again coming down with high grade fever and joint pains. A lot of them complain of swelling and painful ankles in the second episode. Of the 100 fever patients I see every day, almost 20 are those who are battling the second episode," said senior family physician Hillary Rodrigues, former president of the Indian Medical Association (IMA).

Mesh door screens

You can now easily screen your doors to prevent unwanted mosquitoes entering your home. They are effective and reliable. It can be installed on the exterior or interior of the house. The swing of the mesh door screen will decide which side of the door opening the screen system will be installed. The door screen can be mounted inside or on the surface of surrounding frame.

The screens can be locked in the center of the doorway for larger doors by magnetic lock and unlock by pulling handle profile sideways, for single doors or front doors the magnetic lock is on the side frame.

Pleated Mosquito Nets

Spectra mosquito net service for windows, doors. Wide range of products with 1 year guaranteed Stainless steel(304 grade) material which is totally rust free. Spectra mainly focus on stopping mosquito from entering your environment. Our Mosquito Net product will safe you from bad diseases like vector borne , Yellow fever,Dengue, Malaria, Typhoid fever.

This Mosquito Net will look as same as like the window door, where the wooden door of the window will be opened outside from the wooden frame & our product will be opened inside. It is made up of first quality channel bars, which has been power-coated.

The fibre ‘L’ like corners will be used for joining the channel bars in all four side corners. After bar has been made, the mesh will be cut as per the size and ribbed on all the four sides of the frame with a rubber spine, which will hold the mesh hardly. The unbreakable fibre hinges will be used for fixing the bar net on the window frame & the stoppers be used to lock the frame around the corners according to the necessity. In this material, the fibre-glass or the SS can be placed according to the customers’ requirement.
